HR Technology Survey, 2016, PwC

‘Organisations are pursuing cost savings, seeking greater IT self-sufficiency and setting their sights on innovation and mobility’ (The HR Technology Survey, 2016, PwC).

Managing and measuring time & attendance (T&A) is not a new phenomenon. In fact, it dates back to the 1880’ invention, the Bundy Clock. But as evidenced by PwC survey statistics below, T&A, like other areas of HR are being disrupted by cloud based solutions.

  1. 44% surveyed use the cloud for HR, (previous year 23%)
  2. 30% plan to move to the cloud in 3 years
  3. 59% see benefits of performance management on mobile device
