Finance Manager, Senior Accountant, Senior Bookkeeper, Manager

Are you a Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper or Manager in a Chartered firm considering your next move or a mum looking to return to work? We are looking for an experienced accountant who will manage client relationships and engage directly with our offshore team. You will be a stand-out candidate who can demonstrate exceptional financial skills and a confidence conversing with clients.
 
At Dexterous Group we’re an innovative bookkeeping, accounting and tax business who leverage cloud based technologies and a global workforce to provide our clients with a full financial platform. We specifically help startups and small businesses with our range of service offerings.
 
Working in a team of 25 (18 offshore) you’ll be responsible for meeting your Australian based clients and managing the client relationship as well as actively growing the business. We have a growing network of clients that need special attention and management so you will need the right attitude, application and technical skills.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • CA / CPA qualified preferred
  • 7-10 year’s work experience
  • Software knowledge: Xero, MYOB and Saasu
  • Experience in managing the accounting and tax side of small businesses is essential.
  • A deadline orientated mind-set with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task
  • Enjoy a fast paced / ever changing work environment
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Australian income tax knowledge preferred but not essential

This role is a varied one and you must be passionate about helping businesses grow. Through a keen eye for process improvements combined with a strong accounting background you will aim to add value to the client’s business.
