Full Stack Javascript Developer

Who we are: 
A software development company doing big thing in the HR space.  We’re expanding our team to build out more exciting functionality as we because to move our operations internationally.

Key Areas of Responsibility: 

  • Work throughout our full technology stack (Angular, Node and Postgres) to deliver features in a structure scrum-based environment
  • Collaborate with technology team members, end users and other stakeholders to ensure maximum functionality and usability
  • Where applicable suggest areas for improvement in our development techniques, while adhering to current framework and coding policies
  • Document procedures to ensure that any new software development meets functional requirements, system compliance and other specifications
  • Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements

 
Qualifications/Key Skills:
 
There are a number of key attributes and both soft and hard skills that we are looking for in this role: 
  

  • Relevant bachelor degree preferred
  • Strong experience with Node.js back-end development, Angular front-end development
  • Demonstrable understanding of database concepts and ability to contribute to architecture decisions
  • At least three years of experience in a related role
  • Experience with AWS desirable
  • Ability to write and maintain unit tests and appropriate documentation
